Winter Ripples

Can you believe there’s only 10 days till Christmas?DSCF1489 I’m really organised this year. All the pressies were bought quite a while ago. It’s the first time I’ve finished early. Normally I leave everything till the last minuet . I put it off because I hate with a passion shopping when it’s busy.

I know online shopping exists, but then I would miss seeing the lights, smelling the yummy stalls of the Christmas market.

Mostly I would miss the Salvation army band playing the Christmas songs. They do make everything sound wonderfully festive!

Finishing everything early has given me loads of time to start a new blanket.

This is my Winter ripples blanket.

I am loving EVERY SINGLE SECOND of making this.

I don’t have a special way of picking the colours on this one. Just what looks pretty together.

I’m unbelievably happy with how it’s turning out.

The pattern is really easy too. I’ll write a separate blog post with the pattern, hopefully before Christmas.

Till next time
