Giant Granny Square

Hello, long time no see! (waves!)
Only a quicky post today!

I’ve been going through a bit of a crochet dry spell. Thankfully that has passed, and I’m feeling far more creative!
For a long time now I have wanted to make a giant granny square, but every single time I do, the middle starts to twist. By the time I’m on round 12 or so it’s ruined. I think i have cracked it now!

If I fold it, it’s still a square!

I’m quite pleased with how its turning out. Although it’s looking a little boring! I have a few ideas to spice it up a little!

Till next time!

P.S. I nearly forgot to say, I’m back at work after lots of years off, hence the humongous gap since I last popped by!

You can always flip each time you change a colour. This will help it stay square. If you think about a granny stripe blanket, each row is a different way and it still looks good. You colours are lovely. Hope you are enjoying being back in paid employment x
